The enantioselective nickel-catalyzed desymmetrization of allenyl cyclohexa-2,5-dienones I (R1 = CH3, C2H5, CH(CH3)2, C6H5; X = O, NTs) by reaction with arylboronic acids ArB(OH)2 (R2 = C6H5, 3-NCC6H4, 2-naphthyl, etc.) is described.
