The volatiles were removed in vac, the residue dissolved in 1,4-dioxane (20 mL), aqueous HCl (2 N, 14taunL) added, and the solution stirred rapidly at RT for 1 hour. The mixture was diluted with water (400 mL), followed by aqueous/EtOAc work-up and silica gel chromatography (EtOAc: hexanes (1:19)) to give the titled compound.
