Nach 45 Minuten ist die Reaktion beendet. Die organische Phase wird mit Ethylacetat erschoepfend extrahiert. Die Ausbeute des Dialdehyds 4, 4′-OXYBIS (BENZALDEHYD) (CAS Reg. Nr. 2215-76-1) betraegt 84 MOL%.
