General procedure: A solution of corresponding aniline (9.32mmol) and diethyl ethoxymethylenemalonate (9.32mmol) in ethanol (20mL) was heated at 90C for 18h. The organic layer was washed with brine, dried over sodium sulfate and concentrated under reduced pressure.
