General procedure: 2-Iodo-N-phenyl-N-(trimethylsilylethynyl)benzenesulfonamide 18 (100 mg, 0.22 mmol), CuI (4.2 mg, 0.022 mmol), and PdCl2(PPh3)2 (7.7 mg, 0.011 mmol) were placed successively in a two-necked 100 mL flask containing a bar magnet and capped by a three-way stopcock.
