The solids were dried in vacuo at 50 C to provide 1- (benzyloxy)-4-bromo-5-iodo-2-methoxybenzene. 1H NMR (400 MHz, Chloroform-d) delta 7.45 – 7.32 (m, 5H), 7.29 (s, 1H), 7.10 (s, 1H), 5.07 (s, 2H), 3.84 (s, 3H). MS (m/z) 419.8 [M+H]+.
