The resulting mixture was stirred for 2 h, poured into 200 mL of ice-water, stirred for 20 min and extracted with CHCl3 (3x). The combined organics were washed with 5% aq. NaHCO3, brme, d?ed (Na2SO4) and concentrated. The residue was subjected to chromatography on silica gel (EtOAc-hexane, 5:95) affording the title compound. 1H NMR (500 MHz, acetone-^): delta 7.86 (m, 2H), 7.38 (s, IH), 7.31-7.26 (m, 3H), 3.76 (s, 3H), 2.39 (s, 3H).
