Adding a certain compound to certain chemical reactions, such as: 41789-95-1, name is 1-(3-Methoxyphenyl)-N-methylmethanamine, belongs to ethers-buliding-blocks compound, can increase the reaction rate and produce products with better performance than those obtained under traditional synthetic methods. Here is a downstream synthesis route of the compound 41789-95-1, name: 1-(3-Methoxyphenyl)-N-methylmethanamine

Step B: A solution of 4-chlorocinnamic acid (2.0 g, 10.9 mmol) and N-methylmorpholine (1.7 mL, 15.3 mmol) in anhydrous methylene chloride (80 mL) was cooled to -20 C. and isobutyl chloroformate (1.5 mL, 11.6 mmol) was added dropwise. After 15 minutes, a solution of the amine from Step A above (1.66 g, 10.9 mmol) in anhydrous methylene chloride (20 mL) was added dropwise, then the reaction was allowed to warm to room temperature and stir under N2 for 3 hours. The mixture was washed with 1M sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate (2×), H2O (2×), and brine, dried over sodium sulfate, filtered, and concentrated in vacuo. Purification via flash column chromatography (1:1 ethyl acetate/hexanes) yielded the desired amide (2.82 g, 82%) as a white solid: 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) delta 7.70 (dd, J=15.3, 4.8 Hz, 1H), 7.48 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 7.39 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 7.35 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 7.30 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 7.40-7.26 (m, 1H), 6.91 (d, J=15.3 Hz, 1H), 6.83 (s, 1H), 6.83 (d, J=12.3 Hz, 1H), 6.77 (d, J=15.3 Hz, 1H), 4.67 (d, J=12.3 Hz, 2H), 3.80 (s, 3H), 3.08 (d, J=4.2 Hz, 3H); ESI MS m/z 316 [M+H]+.; Step B: A solution of 4-chlorocinnamic acid (2.0 g, 10.9 mmol) and N-methylmorpholine (1.7 mL, 15.3 mmol) in anhydrous methylene chloride (80 mL) was cooled to -20 C.
