The enthalpies of solution of cyclic ethers (1,4-dioxane, 12-crown-4, 15-crown-5 and 18-crown-6) in N,N-dimethylformamide+propan-1-ol mixtures have been measured over the range of composition of the mixture at 298.15 K. The preferential solvation process of cyclic ethers mols. in the investigated mixture has been discussed. The mole fraction of N,N-dimethylforamide in the solvation sphere of cyclic ethers and the contribution of solvent to the solvation enthalpy of cyclic ethers has been calculated On the basis of the obtained data, the effect of the structural and energetic properties N,N-dimethylformamide+propan-1-ol mixtures on the enthalpy of solution of cyclic ethers in these mixtures has been analyzed.
