Sparged with N2 for several minutes, then heated to 100 C overnight with stirring. After cooling to ambient temperature, partioned mixture between EtOAc (20 mL) and water (20 mL). Separated phases, re-extracting aqueous with EtOAc (10 mL). Combined organics were washed with brine (20 mL), dried (MgSO4), filtered, and concentrated. The crude material was purified by Biotage Flash 40 silica gel column, eluting with a gradient of 5%-10% EtOAc/hexanes. Yield: 187 mg (36%).
