The reaction was quenched with saturated aqueous ammonium chloride (10 mL) and extracted with ethyl acetate (60 mL x 2). The organic phase was washed with saturated brine (30 mL) and dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure and the crude product was purified by silica gel column chromatography (eluted with petroleum ether) to give the title compound (1.43 g, 56%) as a colorless liquid
