The combined organic layer was dried over anhyd Na2SO4, concentrated and the residue thus obtained was purified through silica-gel column chromatography using EtOAc-Hexanes (70-90:30-10, v/v) as eluent to yield 4{1,1,1} as a white solid (1.7 g, 80%).
